Surveyor Training in Edmonton: In-Person and Instructor-Led

January 27, 2025 to January 28, 2025

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hosted in Edmonton on January 27 and 28, 2025 from 9am to 8pm on Day 1 & 9am to 5pm on Day 2 (MDT)

The details of the training are as follows:

1. Access to online Standards Training: Introduction to Accreditation & Surveying course developed by ACDS. 

• The Online Training, including the proficiency assessment at the end, will be available for all registrants except those who have completed before. Completion is required prior to the start of the in person session. Access will be given on receipt of completed surveyor training registration form.  
• This is Self-Directed training that will be available on the ACDS learning management platform, Moodle 
• Online training is mandatory for all new surveyors to take in order to continue surveying under the new CET Framework and standards. 

2. In person Surveyor Training January 27 & 28, 2025

• Two full days of in person facilitator led training. 
• All registrants are required to attend  two days of In person training. 

3. Final Reporting Training: Team Leader Specific: 2nd part of Day 2 (January 28). 

• Mandatory training for all Team Leaders
• Optional for Surveyors

Dates: Monday January 27th & Tuesday January 28th, 2025
Time: Day 1 (January 27th) 9am to 8 pm (for all); Day 2 (January 28th) 9 am to 1 pm ( for surveyors); Day 2 (January 28th) 1 pm to 5pm (for team leaders) 
Location: Edmonton. Address to be notified shortly.       

Other details: 

• Participants will be required to bring with them a working laptop. 
• Light Breakfast will be served on Day 1 & 2. 
• Light Lunch will be served on Day 1 & 2. 
• Light Supper will be available on Day 1. 

Other details: Out of town participants can bring in their gas receipt for reimbursement.
