Hosted virtually via Zoom on February 3, 4 and 5, 2025 from 9:00am to 12:00pm MDT
This course is an introduction to Positive Behaviour Supports (PBS) for frontline staff supporting individuals with developmental disabilities who experience behaviours of concern. This PBS course will highlight the importance of knowing the individual, the importance of trust and relationships in the lives of the individuals, and how to better support an individual when they are experiencing behaviours of concern. On completing the training learners will receive the PBS Certificate of Completion.
Trainer: Christina Schofield.
Christina Schofield works as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her Masters of Professional Education in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2021. Christina has had the opportunity to support individuals of all ages in a variety of environments, including specialized services, respite care, and in educational environments. She has been facilitating PBS trainings since October 2019.

ACDS Members: $250 + GST per learner
Non-members: $325.00 + GST per learner
This training is heavily subsidized for PDD-contracted organizations.
