ACDS proudly participated in Nonprofits On The Hill Day, organized by Imagine Canada, to raise awareness of the vital role nonprofits play in our communities.

As part of a 28-person delegation, ACDS was one of only three organizations representing Alberta's nonprofit sector and the sole organization advocating for the disability sector. We had the privilege of engaging in informative discussions with three Conservative MPs from Alberta to raise awareness of the impact of nonprofit organizations and to advocate for a supportive federal regulatory environment and programs that enhance the quality of life for Canadians. 

ACDS was honoured to represent the CDS sector on the national stage, ensuring the voices of those we serve are heard and recognized. Thank you to everyone involved for their efforts in making this important advocacy day a success!
